Break the expectation. Never the player.

Weasel Pit exists for one moment: the half-second when a player realises the cute thing on screen is not cute at all.

Manifesto

We build everything around that moment — our art, our trailers, our posts. Then we make sure the game underneath is deep enough to survive it.

A good pattern interrupt gets you a click. A good system keeps you for a hundred runs.

We're small on purpose. Three people can't make a thousand things. We can make a few things that interact in ways even we didn't plan.

Five rules. No exceptions.

  1. Pattern interrupt

Friendly surface. Brutal core. Every visual, every trailer, every post starts innocent and ends somewhere else.

In Iron Pilgrim A cute low-poly train. A flood of demons. A seraph who does not say "Be not afraid."

  2. Depth over volume

One system you can break a thousand ways beats a thousand things you'll see once.

In Iron Pilgrim Wagons, buffs and positioning combine into a different machine every run.

  3. Fair, never cheap

When you lose, you should think "I got greedy" — not "that was rigged."

In Iron Pilgrim Every wagon adds firepower and surface area. Growth is the risk.

  4. Readable chaos

The screen can explode. You should still know why.

In Iron Pilgrim Clear silhouettes, clear warnings, clear feedback — even when everything is on fire.

  5. Small team, no committees

Three people. If an idea is good, it ends up in the build.

In Iron Pilgrim Designed, built and published by the same three people.

How we make games

  1. 01

    Prototype fast

Movement, shooting, enemies. If it isn't fun in grey boxes, it won't be fun in colour.

  2. 02

    Build the systems

The interesting part: how things combine.

  3. 03

    Fill the world

Enemies, bosses, realms, the Iron Pilgrim.

  4. 04

    Polish the feel

Every hit flashes, every wagon has weight.

  5. 05

    Show it early

Steam page, devlogs, a demo. Players tell us the truth.

Our one rule on scope: optional content can be cut. Core gameplay never is.

Where we're going

Iron Pilgrim is our first game. The plan is to ship it, keep feeding it, and build a studio known for games that look one way and play another.

Get on board, or get out of the way.

BE AFRAID.
